card making class #4

This month on cardmaking at bella, we did two cards. A slider card, and a shaker card. This is the first time I had a chance to make something like these.

We did two cards today because these babies take a long time to make. Actually, I just grabbed the rest of materials for my shaker card because I ran out of time - had to pick up ds at 12:30pm. The group were still working on the shaker when I left.

For my teacher, I'd like you to know that I enjoyed working on these projects. My shaker card came out awesome! I look forward to making more for family and friends. tfr

card making class #3

This month's Lesson on card making is using the ultra thick embossing using the melting pot. It was cool! As always, I enjoyed learning something new and creating something I have not done before.

Here are my goodies! We made a pin, a charm and a pendant. Maybe I can have my hands on a melting pot and some ultra thick embossing powder. I'd love to do this again... soon! tfr!

card making class #2

Today, my df from school, came with me to try her talent on making cards. I like the fact that I can have some company during a 20-minute drive to the class. When we arrived at the store, we were welcomed by the Chocolate Fest that the store's owner prepared for the ocassion - Feb 14.

we took a break to say "cheese"!

First fun card we made for the day! I love the bees! It was fun to measure and fold the paper to make this stand up card. I am sure my df will love this card...

This is another fun card. They call it diorama. I enjoyed making this project and am planning to make some more!

This one is a gift card insert. Isn't that cool??

This is a project I made from the store's "make and take" table.

card making class

I am officially hooked into card making! I love it very much! I am grateful that a very good friend of mine invited me to do some cards. We go to Bella Art, in Johnston, where you'll find nice, friendly people, and really nice stamping, card making materials.

Today's technique is using a regular bleach to beautify papers! How exciting! I did not realize we can use a bleach to make cards... Here's my creation...

The pear pictured in the middle is made from white glossy paper, we stamped alcohol ink on it, let it dry, stamped the big pear picture with versa mark, emboss, then wipe the inside with bleach... I love what came out of it!

Bleach is applied inside the outlined picture on the bottom right of the card.

We stamped with bleach on a nice bazzill paper.

I'd like to thank Sarah, our teacher, for guiding me to make these nice cards!
